OERAP: Oregon Emergency Rental Assistance Program (OERAP) is closed as of December 13, 2022. All applicants who had existing applications in the system by August 12, 2022 have been fully processed and the program is no longer assisting community members.

Current 211info Waitlist: As of August 18, 2022, Multnomah County is prioritizing households with eviction notices for the Equitable Access Rent Assistance Program (EARAP).

If you have an eviction notice: please contact 211 immediately for information on the Multnomah County COVID-19 Eviction Prevention Program. This Rent Relief Program is designed to provide eviction prevention assistance in Multnomah County to prevent households from eviction due to the financial and health impact of Covid-19. Assistance may be available for the current month’s rent due if an eviction notice has been issued. For more information, click here.

Information About Eviction Protections

Oregon’s statewide eviction moratorium expired on June 30, 2021, and is no longer active. 

More information on the current protections can be found here.

Tenants should apply for rent assistance right away.

What to do if You Receive an Eviction Notice

If you receive a notice of eviction for nonpayment, call 211 immediately to get information about available resources for rapid-payment rent assistance.

If you are seeking legal support contact Oregon Law Center’s Eviction Defense Project at 888-585-9638 or [email protected]. Legal support is available for tenants living in the City of Portland as soon as you receive any type of Notice of Termination through the City of Portland’s Eviction Legal Defense Program.
