Responsible for billing and collecting charges for services provided by the Portland Water Bureau and the Bureau of Environmental Services. Establishes guidelines for program providing low-income assistance with owner-occupied fixture repair costs and utility bill discount. Refers individuals to community service agencies to determine eligibility.

This department provides water service, tests water quality, provides information on water treatment units and cross connection control/backflow protection devices, assists in detecting and identifying leaks in your water system, and provides tips to manage high and low pressure water problems.

Electric and water service provider. Fields complaints and calls about utility emergencies. Provides a medical certificate program. May provide assistance or payment plans to customers who are having difficulty paying their utility bills. The Customer Care Program offers a $280 bill credit once per calendar year to eligible customers.

Provides water and electricity services. Customer service department can provide information for Customers Helping Customers Program and may have the ability to negotiate payment plans. McMinnville Water and Light does not provide direct payment assistance, and will not provide cash assistance. Customers can also call to report downed power lines and outages.

Provides residential and commercial electric and water services. Also offers rebates on qualifying insulation, windows, ductless heat pumps, and lighting. Funds for these programs are limited and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
