Provides support groups for people experiencing addiction to alcohol, drugs, food, and/or pornography. There are also support groups that deal with anger, depression, grief, and divorce. Also offered is Beyond the Walls, a class for families with loved ones who are incarcerated. Childcare is provided for support groups and classes.

Support groups and classes are Christian faith-based healing programs. Worship services are offered before meetings, but attendance is not required.

Offers referrals to 12-step recovery meetings for people who have a desire to recover from sexual or love based compulsive or addictive behavior. Meetings are held worldwide, with the majority being in North America. Meeting formats include face-to-face, telephone, and web-based options. SLAA does not offer telephone counseling, nor is it a "hotline." Interested parties will be referred to a meeting in their area or to a telephone/web-based meeting for assistance.

Provides support groups and peer counseling to help individuals gain independence from addiction and addictive behaviors, including substance use disorder, gambling addiction, and sexual addiction. Offers a "no higher power" approach. The program has four aspects: building motivation, coping with urges, problem solving, and developing a balanced lifestyle.
