The program supports independence through shared activities, transportation, and companionship. Senior Companions also provide short periods of relief to primary caregivers.

Volunteer opportunities available. If income-eligible, Senior Companion volunteers may receive a small stipend plus mileage reimbursement.

TRANSPORTATION REACHING PEOPLE
Provides transportation to older adults and people with disabilities for medical appointments, personal business, and shopping. Priority is given for life-sustaining medical appointments. Rides are provided within Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties.

The Ride Together program allows riders to recruit their own volunteer driver (i.e. family, neighbors, and friends). Participants schedule rides with their volunteer driver. Mileage reimbursement is provided and volunteer training is required.

The Vets Driving Vets program matches veterans who volunteer their services with other veterans who need rides to doctors' appointments or to take care of other basic needs.
