Discounted Sewer Service * Older Adults

Offers two utility assistance programs:

Utility Assistance Program: Water/sewer customers may be eligible for one-time emergency assistance of up to $150 off their utility bills (water, wastewater, and/or stormwater charges).

Senior or Disabled Person Sewer and Stormwater Discount Rate: Offers reduced sewer rates for older adults and adults with disabilities.

Eligibility: Utility Assistance Program: City of Bend water/sewer customers who have a past due balance and have household income no higher than 80% of the area median income. Sewer-only customers are not eligible. Assistance is not available if you have received the discounted sewer rate within the last 12 months. Service must not be disconnected.

Senior or Disabled Person Sewer and Stormwater Discount Rate: Age 62 and older and adults with disabilities who meet income requirements. Those who receive assistance through the Utility Assistance Program are not eligible for the discounted rate for 12 months.

CITY OF ESTACADA

REDUCED RATE UTILITY PROGRAM

Provides reduced rates on water, sewer, and storm drain bills.

Eligibility: Ages 62 and older who are at, or below, 60% of Oregon’s current median income (Oregon current median income is $42,937). Must be the applicant's primary residence, and service must be billed in the applicant's name.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm
