UTILITY ASSISTANCE
Provides electric, gas, heating fuel, and water assistance to low-income households.

An energy education program provides information on energy and water use efficiency, usually in a classroom setting through presentations and hands-on learning. Allows energy assistance and other clients access to items and information that can be used in the home to improve their energy and water use efficiency.

Eligibility: Household income at or below 60% of Oregon's median income. First-priority clients are age 60 and older and people with disabilities. Second-priority clients are families with children age 6 and younger in the household. If funding remains, assistance is offered to the general community.

-Social Security cards for all household members
-Current proof of income for the most recent 30 days; visit website for more information
-Most recent energy or water bill with the applicant’s name
-Declaration of Household Income form when applicable
