BABIES FIRST!
Babies First! is Oregon's public health nurse home visiting program that works to improve the health outcomes of pregnancy and children through prevention and early identification of problems. The home visiting nurse can provide health and developmental screenings, health and nutrition education, infant and child development tips, breastfeeding support, and referrals to community resources that center on the family's needs.

Eligibility: Pregnant women and families with children ages 0-5 with a higher risk for health issues. Risk factors may include drug-exposed infant, prematurity, teenage parents, at-risk caregiver, domestic violence, hearing loss in the family and/or concerned parent or provider.
