VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Various volunteer opportunities available to assist in four homeless shelters, food distribution, and Holiday Cheer program. Accepts donations of new or gently used clothing, bedding, household items, and personal hygiene items. Donations of food items (perishable, as long as they are at the appropriate temperature and were made in a commercial kitchen, and non-perishable) are also accepted for the Backpack Program.

Eligibility: Unrestricted. Because many of Share's clients are children and vulnerable individuals, it is the agency's policy to secure conviction-only history information as part of the screening process for volunteers.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Walk in, call, or visit website for more information. Share only accepts volunteer applications from January 1-October 31, with the exception of people wanting to volunteer to help with the Holiday Cheer program. Volunteer applications must be renewed every two years.
