HOMES FOR GOOD HOUSING AGENCY LANE COUNTY
SECTION 8 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM
Provides rental assistance to low-income families in the private rental market. A family member must complete a housing application and be placed on a waitlist. When the family reaches the top of the waitlist, income and assets are verified and the family may be considered eligible. The eligible family then locates a unit and a willing owner and enters into a lease agreement; the owner contracts with Homes for Good. Homes for Good pays the owner a portion of the family's rent based on their income. New families are added to the program as vacancies occur. Fields complaints about Section 8 housing.
