EMERGENCY PET FOOD BANK AND VITAL VETERINARY CARE RESOURCES
Pet food bank that provides dog and/or cat food and veterinary care referral resources for family pets, including dental, X-ray, flea medication, laboratory, pharmacy, surgical, and more. Assistance for some expenses of veterinary care may be available. Some programs may have a waitlist.
Eligibility: Age 18 and older with pets
Hours: -No standard hours
-Monthly food bank: 4th Sunday of the month 10am-1pm; date may change if a holiday weekend. Visit website for current information.
-First time guests must call or email at least 7 days in advance of the next scheduled pet food bank so that agency can complete paperwork before arrival.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: An appointment is required for a client's first visit to the Pongo Fund. Visit website for services in detail or call for more information.
-Veterinary care: Review questions online and email request for consideration
-Pet food: Call or visit website for information on dates, locations, and times that food will be distributed. First time clients are asked to call or email at least 7 days in advance of the next scheduled pet food bank so that agency can complete paperwork before arrival. Pet food is provided on a first-come basis and is limited to 250 people per day. Pongo has asked people not to bring their pets when picking up food, but to bring a heavy-duty grocery bag as these are not provided.

-Current utility bill, mortgage or rent statement or similar document to verify address, if available
-Current SNAP/food stamp card, if available
-Documents to confirm animals have been spayed and/or neutered for applicable services
