AFFORDABLE HOUSING/INCOME RESTRICTED PROPERTIES
Provides affordable rental housing for low and moderate-income households. Affordable housing means that rent is not subsidized or income-based, but rents are below fair market value. May give preference to applicants involuntarily displaced from North/Inner Northeast Portland at any time since 2000 due to increasing rents or the sale of residency property.

Eligibility: Household income must be at least 1.5 times the rent amount (or hold a qualifying rental assistance voucher) and cannot exceed 60% Area Median Income for the City of Portland.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Walk in, call, or visit website for pre-application. All units are filled through waitlists.
FEES: None for pre-application. $35 application screening fee for each person age 18 and older with a non-refundable cashier's check or money order due when the household's pre-application reaches the top of the waitlist. Rents vary by unit.
DOCUMENTS: Each household member age 18 and older must complete a separate waitlist application. The following documents must be provided:
-Valid photo ID for each person age 18 and older who will reside in the household
-Proof of verifiable income for the past 30 days (pay stubs or current award letter for those receiving TANF, SSI, or Unemployment In
-Copy of most recent income tax form or W-2
