HOUSING AUTHORITY OF YAMHILL COUNTY
READY TO RENT
Provides an 18 hour class geared towards those who are working to overcome a bad rental history. The class covers key information for being a responsible and stable tenant. Participants explore screening barriers they may have and take steps to address those barriers. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate that can be presented to landlords when applying for housing. Certificates are valid for 18 months. Certificates can be used anywhere in Oregon.

Landlords in Yamhill County are eligible to register for the Landlord Assurance Program which may cover damages, unpaid rent, or eviction costs if a Ready to Rent tenant vacates the unit, not in good standing, within 12 months of the move-in date.
