DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM
Class series helps participants adopt the healthy habits needed to prevent Type 2 diabetes. Trained lifestyle coaches lead classes to help participants make better food choices, increase physical activity, and learn coping skills to maintain weight loss and healthy lifestyle changes. Eligibility: Individuals 18 and older who have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes or are at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
Hours: Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30am-2pm; Thursday and Friday, 11:30am-5pm

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call or email to find out more information about class times and locations. Classes are typically held three to five times per year. Registration is required.
FEES: $450 for the one year class series. Funds in flexible spending accounts can be used for these classes. Some insurance carriers cover program, including Medicare.
