Eligibility: Applicants must live in and own the home, meet income guidelines, be current on mortgage payments, have homeowner's insurance, have the ability to pay a portion of the repair and permits. At least one household member must be age 60 and older, have a disability, or be a veteran.

FEES: A sliding-fee scale is used. Homeowners can pay for the repairs with a 0% interest loan tailored to meet their budget. Savings accounts where funds are matched 3:1 for critical health, safety, and structural repairs are also available. Many repairs are done at no charge for qualifying low-income homeowners.
