LINES FOR LIFE
YOUTHLINE
Provides confidential crisis intervention, counseling, and referral line for youth and their families who are dealing with issues ranging from a bad test grade, running away from home, homelessness, or a recent breakup to such topics as depression, anxiety, bullying, pregnancy, self-harm, or substance use disorder.

The YouthLine is staffed by volunteers ages 15-18 who are supervised at all times by an adult. Volunteers from different high schools across the Portland Metro area complete 30 hours of crisis line training to develop peer helping skills and learn about substance use disorder and available treatment.
