NEW AVENUES FOR YOUTH
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES
Connects youth with treatment programs and counseling, prevention and recovery resources, and peer support through the Recovery Oriented Support and Engagement (ROSE) and Treatment and Harm Reduction Oriented Resource Network (THORN) programs.

The ROSE and THORN program teams include alcohol and drug specialists, peer mentors, mental health counselors, and other alternative therapeutic supports. Teams work directly with youth to engage them in recovery oriented activities, promote healthy decision-making, and identify individual needs. Recovery supports are funded in part through the Measure 110 Oversight and Accountability Council. The ROSE program also operates at Homeless Youth Continuum (HYC) partner agencies Janus Youth Programs, Outside In, and Native American Youth and Family Center.
