HEAD START & EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (ECEAP)
Head Start and ECEAP services promote school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children by providing educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to children and families, including developmental screening. Parental involvement is emphasized. Services for parents include parenting classes, parent support and networking. Partial-day and full-day services provided. Program accommodates children with special needs or disabilities.

Eligibility: Ages 3-5 years. Enrollment priority goes to children most in need, including:
-Children living in poverty (130% of Federal Poverty Level)
-Children with disabilities or serious health/mental health concerns
-Children from families affected by mental health issues, child abuse or neglect, incarceration, parent illness/disability, domestic violence, substance abuse, homelessness, foster care or other serious concerns
Hours: Preschool: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4pm classes and days may vary
