HOMELESS EDUCATION AND LITERACY PROJECT
The Homeless Education and Literacy Project (HELP) is a program of the Lincoln County School District (LCSD) designed to help homeless students overcome barriers to school attendance and academic success. Four HELP Centers provide resources and educational programs to students and their families in the north, south, east, and west regions of Lincoln County. The HELP centers have basic needs resources and enrichment programs that promote literacy and education.

Eligibility: Students who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence. The HELP Advocate will determine eligibility. Qualifying living situations can include emergency/transitional shelter, motel/hotel, car, park, campground, RV, abandoned building, unsuitable living conditions, and shared housing due to economic hardship. Youth who have run away or are homeless on their own are also eligible.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm, follows the school district calendar
