Eligibility:
Households currently living in substandard housing who meet all of
the following requirements:
-Meet income guidelines
-Can commit to 150 hours of sweat equity per adult over 18 years of age, with a family maximum of 500 hours
-Are United States citizens or permanent residents
-Have not have owned a home in the past 3 years
-Have the ability to pay a mortgage payment (steady income and decent credit history)
-Have the ability to be responsible for maintenance and repairs on a new home after move in
-Have the ability to complete financial counseling and household maintenance education
-Must live in Josephine County and be willing to live in Grants Pass
