COLLEGE ASSISTANCE MIGRANT PROGRAM
College Assistance Migrant Program is a federally funded program designed to support students from migrant and seasonal farm worker backgrounds during their first year in college. Services can include financial support to help cover college expenses (CAMP scholarship and textbook allowance total financial support are subject to funding availability), family involvement support, mentoring, tutoring, academic and career advising, and referrals to community resources.

Eligibility: Must meet all of the following criteria:
-Be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States
-Be a full-time (12 credits), first-year incoming student attending TVCC
-Come from an agricultural background
For the agricultural background, one of the following must be fulfilled:
-Applicant or guardian has worked at least 75 days in the past 24 months in migrant/seasonal farm work (including crop, dairy, poultry or livestock production, the cultivation or harvest of trees, or on a fish farm)
-Must be eligible or have participated in a Migrant Education Program (MEP)
-Must be eligible or have participated in National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP)
