COMMCARD PROGRAM
Provides a program meant to facilitate understanding and effective communication techniques between an individual with a developmental disability and another person. Assistance is given to acquire an identification card with information about a person's diagnosis, address, advocate contacts, behavioral presentations, communication accomodations, and a sample stress-diffusing topic.
Applicants will be required to attend a training session to practice the process with uniformed helping professionals.
