Eligibility:
Must meet the following criteria:
-Applicant must be eligible to participate in,The Migrant Education Program (MEP)
-National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP) of Section 167 of the WIA
Applicant or guardian must have worked as a migrant/seasonal farmworker at least 75 days in the past 24 months.
This includes:
-Activity directly related to the production of crops, dairy products, poultry or livestock
-The cultivation or harvesting of trees including nursery and forestry work
-Fish farmworker
-Have a high school diploma or GED
-Be in the first year of college undergraduate studies (freshman status, minimum WR080, RD080 through the placement test or the alternate writing and reading test)
-Enroll in at least 12 credits hours per term (full-time status)
-Must be a U.S Citizen or U.S Permanent Resident
