Your 211 Family Info Specialist
My name is Ashley Lawrence.
I'm the lead 211 Family Info Specialist at 211info. I'm a mother who has a compassionate ear, can discuss parenting in-depth, and provide family advice and referral.
I'm originally from New Hampshire and have been a proud Oregonian since 1999. I studied education at the University of Oregon, but found my passion for doing the most good when I started working at Eugene’s Relief Nursery where I discovered a real affinity for working with at-risk parents.
I earned a master’s degree in early intervention from Portland State University, and since then have been a behavior consultant with Multnomah Education Service District, working with at-risk families whose kids have special needs. Through this role I also serve as a consultant to local preschools, providing guidance around individual situations and system-wide behavioral practices. Through this hands-on-work, I have seen how early childhood programs can improve the lives of children and families.
