Impact NW will accept walk-ins for NW Natural customers ONLY, every Monday from 8:30am-4:30pm. Please bring current bill, IDs for all adults, social security cards for everyone who has one and income verification for the last 30 days. The address is 10055 E Burnside Street, Portland OR 97216.

Impact NW will also open their energy line Tuesday, February 3rd for PGE, Pacific Power, NW Natural, wood, pellet, and oil customers. Please call 503-988-6020 and leave your first and last name and phone number.

Native American Rehabilitation Association (NARA)

NARA will open their energy line Friday January 30th from 8:30am-10am. Please call 503-347-3886 at that time for a prescreening and to set up an appointment.

Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI)

SEI accepts walk-ins for NW Natural customers every Tuesday from 9am-11am. Please bring photocopies of picture ID, current income verification for the last 30 days for everyone in the household over 18, social security cards for everyone in the household, and current bill. The address is 4803 NE 7th Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97211.

SEI will also accept phone calls for PGE, PPL, NW Natural and oil customers on Thursday, February 5th from 9am-9:30am. Please call 503-240-0828 at that time and leave a message with your name and phone number.

St Vincent de Paul 
Appointments available? YES

St Vincent de Paul is currently accepting walk-ins for people who have a shut off notice. The first 20 walk-ins at 9am, Monday through Friday, will receive an appointment to determine eligibility for assistance. Financial assistance is only available from St Vincent de Paul once per year and is usually limited to $100, if eligible. Please bring your most recent utility bill. St Vincent De Paul’s address is 5120 SE Milwaukie Avenue, Portland OR 97202. Appointments are first come, first served for the first 20 people, so it is best to arrive before 9am. St Vincent De Paul does not accept phone calls for financial assistance. 

City of Portland Water Discount Program

Customers responsible for paying a City of Portland residential sewer/stormwater/water bill may be eligible for a quarterly discount on their bill. During a crisis, eligible customers may receive up to $150 in assistance once every 12 months. Eligibility depends on household income. If you receive food stamps you may be eligible for the City of Portland Water Discount Program. Please contact the following agencies for more information on how to apply:

If you are already enrolled in the City of Portland Water Discount Program and need to access your annual crisis voucher please call the Water Bureau at 503-823-7770. You will need to pay a portion of your bill to receive assistance.
