Service Description: Provides Christmas food boxes and gifts to families in the Sandy Fire District.

Intake Procedure:

*Sign up at Fire Station (17460 Burns Ave, Sandy, 97055) November 25 - December 18, 2013 or until capacity is reached.

*Client chooses pick up or delivery option on application.

*Pick up will be on December 21st, 8:30am-10am; Must bring ID.

2) West Linn Food Pantry

Service Description: Limited number of holiday food baskets available for families in West Linn. Taking referrals until Dec 5th

Intake Procedure: Bring one current piece of identification and one current piece of mail showing residency and address. Families to provide their own boxes and bags.

3) Toy and Joy / Compassion in Action

Service Description: Providing holiday gift and food baskets to low income families in Clackamas County. Supplies are limited so there is no guarantee of availability.

**PLEASE NOTE: Sign up forms must be filled out COMPLETELY to receive services. Applying at more than one location may also result in applications being rejected.

Intake Procedure: Applications are available from October 14, 2013 to December 6, 2013 at social service agencies such as DHS, Mental Health, FSA, Head Start, Healthy Start, Housing Authority, Senior Centers etc.

**Families in Estacada area must apply through their local school or library.

Eligibility:

*Must live in Clackamas County

*Income must be at or below Federal food stamp guidelines

*Complete only one application per household

*A multiple family household must submit only one application

*Supply all required information on application

Sign up form requires the last 4 digits of each household member's Social Security Number, or Tax Identification Number (issued by the IRS). Individuals who do not as yet have these numbers will be placed on a waiting list and served as resources allow.

Documents: Last 4 numbers of Social Security Number and date of birth for all members of the household when applying.

4) Christmas for Kids at the Estacada Library

Service Description: The Christmas for Kids program provides gifts to families with children living in Estacada and Eagle Creek.

Intake Procedure: Pick up an application at the library at 825 NW Wade Street in Estacada. Applications will be available starting on November 29th and until December 20th. Families can also apply through their child’s school.

Eligibility: Families must be receiving SNAP/food stamps, OHP or children qualify for free or reduced school lunch.

5)Colton Aid Network

 

Service Description: Holiday food and gift program.

Intake Procedure: *Taking applications until Friday December 13th

Intake Procedure:

*Sign up at Fire Station (69634 E Hwy 26 Welches, OR 97067) until December 13th, 2013 or until capacity is reached. Must bring ID/address verification.

*Open 8am-5pm, 7 days a week.

*Client chooses pick up or delivery option on application.

*Pick up will be on Friday December 20th from 4pm-7pm and Saturday December 21st from 11am-1pm at Mt Hood Lion’s Club, Hwy 26 and Woodsey Way in Welches.

*Delivery on Saturday December 21st only.

1) Snowcap

Service Description:Christmas dinner at Rockwood United Methodist Church, 17805 SE Stark, in the back of the building in the Fellowship Hall.

Intake Procedure: Enter at back of church.

Eligibility: Low-income families east of 82nd.

Service Hours: Christmas dinner - Wednesday, December 25th 12pm-2pm

Documents: For the Christmas program bring a piece of mail with name and address to prove residence within the service area.

2) Union Gospel Mission

Service Description: On Christmas Day, Union Gospel Mission will provide a meal for people in need or experiencing homelessness.

Service Description: Providing Christmas food boxes this holiday season. The line will open for Christmas requests on Dec. 1, 2013. All messages left on the voice mail prior to the official opening date may be erased. No Toys are available this year.

Intake Procedure: Register at the website (www.metrofoodbox.weebly.com). Those without internet access may leave a detailed message on the Holiday request phone line. Web applications are answered more quickly than phone messages. Please DO NOT call the church's phone number to request a box.

Eligibility: Church is accepting requests ONLY from people whose permanent residence is in far East County, specifically for these zip codes ONLY: 97230, 97233, 97236, 97024, 97030, 97060, or 97080. Eligible callers may receive help from Metro on one holiday only. All applicants must have an appointment and be able to pick up their box at the church. Deliveries will be limited to handicapped or seniors with disabilities that keep them from driving.

Documents: The church requires proof that the applicant's current address is in their service area. Proof can be a drivers' license, photo ID, or a bill with the current address and applicant's name on it.

When people sign up, they will be given information on a specific time to return to pick up toys and food.

Eligibility: Must live within service area and be below poverty guidelines. Salvation Army participates in a clearinghouse database to prevent duplication of services by different agencies for the same family.

Documents: Must bring proof of address showing residence within zip code service area, picture ID for themselves and some form of ID for each member of the household that includes their date of birth. Proof of income for last 30 days for all household members over 18.

4) Portland Toy and Joy Makers

Service Description: Seasonal program providing children of low income families with gifts. Those wishing to make donations: call (503) 823-0922.

Intake Procedure: Call Intake line from 9am-3pm starting on November 18th, 2013. Phone number will not be connected until that date. Hold times can be lengthy, please be patient.

Eligibility: Families with children infants-13 years of age that meet federal income guidelines. This program participates in the HANDS database, which tracks families who have applied to other programs. Families who have applied for toys elsewhere are not eligible to apply to Portland Toy and Joy. Okay to apply to other programs for food.

Service Hours: November 18th -December: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm

Documents: All clients must have ID, proof of address, proof of guardian of children, and proof of income.
