SEI accepts walk-ins for Pacific Power, PGE, and NW Natural Gas customers every Tuesday from 9am-3pm or until capacity is reached. Walk-in to 4803 NE 7th Avenue, Portland 97211. Please bring copies of photo ID and current income verification for the past 30 days for all household members age 18 and older, Social Security cards for all household members, and the two most recent utility bills (if applicable) which must be in the applicants name.

SEI's energy assistance hotline will open Monday, August 6, 2018 9am-10am in order to schedule clients/households for appointments for any day of the week. Please call 503-240-0828 and leave a message with your first and last name and a working phone number. Calls will be returned on a first-come, first-served basis.

St. Vincent de Paul

St Vincent de Paul is currently accepting walk-ins for energy assistance Monday-Friday 8:30am-noon and 1pm-4pm. Walk in to make an appointment for a client interview the same day or within the next two business days (subject to appointment availability). Appointments given on a first-come, first-served basis. An interview does not guarantee assistance. SVDP verifies applicant's account details directly with the service provider.. May refer clients to other agencies. Documentation needed includes Photo ID, printed utility bill matching applicant's name and address, shut-off notice. City of Portland Water Discount Program

Customers responsible for paying a City of Portland residential sewer/storm water/water bill may be eligible for a discount on their bill. During a crisis, eligible customers may receive up to $500 in assistance once every 12 months. Eligibility depends on household income. If you receive SNAP (food stamps), you may be eligible for the City of Portland Water Discount Program. You will need to provide the following documents: current bill, IDs for anyone over age 18 in the household, Social Security cards for everyone in the household that has one, and proof of income for everyone in the household for the last 30 days.
