Impact NW accepts walk-ins for NW Natural ONLY every Monday 8am-4:30pm. The office is located at 10055 E Burnside Street, Portland, OR 97216. 

When walking in, please bring all required documents:
-ID cards for everyone in the household 18 years and older
-Social Security cards for everyone in the household
-Proof of income for last 30 days for everyone in the household who works/receives income (if paid on the day of intake, bring check; no bank statements accepted)
-If receiving SSD or SSI, bring Social Security Administration award letter from 2016 (and 2015, if available)
-Current utility bill

Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA)

NAYA's energy line opens Wednesday, December 7th, at 10am for PGE, Pacific Power, NW Natural, and heating fuel customers, and will remain open for the first 100 callers. Please call 503-288-8177, extension 322, and leave a message with your first and last name, phone number, and the utility company (or type of heating fuel) you are seeking assistance with. Please speak slowly and clearly.

St. Vincent de Paul
Appointments available? YES

St Vincent de Paul is currently accepting walk-ins for people who have a shut off notice for electric, natural gas, or water. The first 20 walk-ins in line at 9am, Monday through Friday, will receive an appointment to determine eligibility for assistance. Financial assistance is only available from St Vincent de Paul once per year and is usually limited to $100. Please bring your most recent utility bill. The address is 8101 SE Cornwell Street, Portland OR 97206. Appointments are first come, first served for the first 20 people, so it is best to arrive before 9am.

City of Portland Water Discount Program

Customers responsible for paying a City of Portland residential sewer/storm water/water bill may be eligible for a quarterly discount on their bill. During a crisis, eligible customers may receive up to $150 in assistance once every 12 months. Eligibility depends on household income. If you receive SNAP (food stamps), you may be eligible for the City of Portland Water Discount Program. Please contact the following agencies for more information on how to apply:
