We get questions all the time about where people can volunteer for various do-goodery. I’ve also heard community members wonder aloud: why isn’t it easier for people to come together and find impactful ways to help the Portland/Vancouver Metro area (I'm paraphrasing)? Well, as Marlin Luther King Jr. Day approaches, our strategic partners the United Way of Columbia-Willamette (UWCW) have an answer.

A Volunteer Coordination Center has been created to respond to community needs arising from yesterday's tornado. Individuals or groups interested in volunteering, offering donations or other help should contact Summer Amato at 503-749-2128 or 503-749-2129.
