SERVICE DESCRIPTION: Hope Station Community Services, Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to support working individuals and families in need by providing grocery products, clothing, and other necessities.
Families enrolled at HS come twice a month and "shop" for groceries and unlimited clothing, and receive other free resources.
There is a fee of $25 and two hours of volunteer service to help in our operations. At Hope Station people receive a "hand up" not a "hand out". They encounter respect and dignity yet are encouraged to take responsibility and give back.
INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call to set up a screening interview; services cannot be received without this
FEES: $25 a month, plus 2 hours of volunteering at Hope Station each month
ELIGIBILITY: Working families; people are not eligible if they receive food stamps, welfare, housing or other assitance.
SERVICE HOURS: Hope Station is open the 2nd and 4th Tuesday and Saturday of every month.
Tuesday: 10am -1pm; 4pm-8pm
Saturdays: 9am-1pm
DOCUMENTS: Document of income, proof of work, and other relevant documents.
