Time is running out on assistance for unemployed homeowners

Did you know Mortgage Payment Assistance is available for any homeowner currently receiving unemployment benefits.

Limited applications are again available on Wednesday, July 11 at exactly 12:00 noon. On July 25th, the State of Oregon will release all remaining application slots to all unemployed homeowners throughout Oregon on a first-come, first-serve basis.

It is likely that this will be the last release/submission process authorized by the state for this specific program.

If you believe that you may qualify for this program, visit your local Worksource Oregon office or in Benton County visit Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services; a local non-profit housing agency located at 257 SW Madison Ave., Second Floor, Downtown Corvallis. You may also call the agency at: 541-752-7220.

This program is from the State of Oregon and the US Treasury Department and is administered through Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services for Benton County homeowners (other agencies oversee the program for other counties as well).
