Back to School Shot Clinics Begin August 27 [Deschutes]
With the start of the school fast approaching, Deschutes County Health Services is reminding parents to make sure their children have the immunizations they need to go to school and stay healthy.
For those children still needing immunizations before the start of school, Deschutes County School Based Health Centers are holding walk-in “Back to School Shot Clinics” the week of August 27.
Any student who attends a public or private school, preschool, childcare facility or Head Start program is required to have vaccines to stay enrolled. Only those who have a religious or medical reason for not being vaccinated are exempt.
The dates and locations of each clinic are listed below.
Immunization Clinic Dates and Locations
All clinics will be held 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Monday, August 27
La Pine School Based Health Center

Tuesday, August 28
Lynch School Based Health Center
1314 SW Kalama, Redmond
Wednesday, August 29
Ensworth School Based Health Center
2150 Ne Daggett Lane, Bend
Thursday, August 30
Sisters School Based Health Center
1701 McKinney Butte Rd., Sisters
Please bring your child’s immunization record and your insurance coverage if you have it. For those without insurance, the cost is only $15.19 per shot. No one will be denied service for the inability to pay. For more information about these clinics, please call (541) 322-7400.
