From Partners for a Hunger Free Oregon:

We all know kids can concentrate and do better in school when their stomachs are full. Do you work for an afterschool program that struggles to feed kids? We can help!

Grants available to feed kids in afterschool settings!

The state of Oregon has one-time grant funds available to help afterschool sponsors cover the start-up costs for the USDA At-Risk Afterschool Meal and Snack Program. Grants are also available for current sponsors who need help to increase participation.

You may request up to $10,000 per organization between now and February 28th, 2013 or until all grant funds have been expended. Find out more and submit your proposal soon!
