Celebrate National Recovery Month

September is National Recovery Month which spreads the message that prevention works, treatment is effective, and people can and do recover. Two events will take place on Monday, September 4, 2017.

From 10am-noon, hear from a program of speakers, followed by the joining of hands along the I-5 bridge from Washington to Oregon, in a powerful celebration of the unity and strength of recovery. Event goers can meet at the Jantzen Beach Red Lion, 909 N Hayden Island Drive in Portland, or at Esther Short Park, 301 W 8th Street in Vancouver.

From noon until sundown, the Oregon and Washington chapters of Oxford Houses will host OxFest, a day-long sober music festival with food, fun, and games for the whole family at Esther Short Park in Vancouver.
