Do you or someone you know receive SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, WIC or SSI? Check out these additional programs and discounts you or someone you know may be eligible for.  

Discounted tickets for Arts, Dance and Theater

List of Theaters and Museums that offer $5 tickets for SNAP recipients. Check out the link below for the list and more info.

Portland Children’s Museum – $1 per person per visit Or $15 per family per year. Anyone who receives public assistance (WIC, EBT, free/reduced school lunches, TANF, Medicaid, etc.) can be admitted to the Portland Children’s Museum for $1 per person. Proof of eligibility is required.

Oregon History Society – FREE for up to 4 people. An EBT card can provide free admission for up to four people and a 10% discount in the museum store through the Museums for All initiative.

Reduced Cost Spay/Neuter Surgeries- If you have an Oregon Trail Card, you can receive a discount on spay and neuter surgeries for your pets. For more information, please contact your local humane society.

Application for Naturalization costs- Those receiving public benefits like TANF, SSI, LINK, SNAP or Medicaid and whose families earn less than 150% of the federal poverty level may be eligible for fee waivers.

Reduced Phone and/or Internet service

Oregon Lifeline, Oregonians who receive one of the qualifying benefits (SNAP, TANF, SSI, Medicaid Free Lunch Program)  may receive up to a $12.75 reduction on their monthly bill for local residential telephone or cellular service.

Comcast Internet Essentials- Participants may receive a low-cost internet connection and computer along with free internet classes. To be eligible households must have at least one child who qualifies for the National School Lunch Program (same eligibility as SNAP) .

Century Link Internet Basics- Provides a low-cost, basic internet connection, Some households may also qualify for reduced-cost home phone services from Centurylink. Eligible households must be receiving one or more benefits (SNAP, FPHA, SSI, Medicaid, Veterans Benefits)
