FACT Oregon is offering a free training opportunity for families looking to better understand developmental disability (DD) services. Parents and caregivers will learn how to navigate and advocate for their child or young adult within the DD system. Specifically, they will receive an overview of enrollment eligibility, service coordination, family support, K-plan and more.
The class will be held Tuesday, Sept. 16, 6:30-8:30pm at the Providence Cancer Center (819 NE 47th Ave., Portland, OR 97213). Refreshments will be provided.
