211info invites health care providers to deepen their knowledge of community resources that promote individual and family health—such as food, weatherization, electric bill payment assistance, landlord-tenant problem-solving and recreation centers.
Target audience: Medical social workers, caregivers, home health workers, visiting nurses and hospice workers.
Program: Social workers, caregivers and health professionals are better positioned to connect their clients with a broad range of resources when they receive a formal training on the resources available through 211info, with a demonstration of how our Community Information Specialists work with callers, how clients can receive the same level of service through texting, and how to use the resource database at 211info.org. 211info trainings also give caregivers and professionals an opportunity to discuss self-care. Refreshments will be provided.
When: 5-6:30pm, Thursday, Nov. 19, at 211info, 7535 NE Ambassador Place, Suite B, Portland, OR 97220.
To register: Send email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Attendance is free, but registration is required.
This community training is sponsored by Providence Health & Services, with the vision of creating healthier communities, together.
