Join the party: Portland affordable housing celebration on June 4

A party for any reason is fun, but a party that brings together diverse individuals under one banner in unity is special: it has the power to bring change. In Portland, availability of affordable housing continues to be a concern, its threat rising with the prices. The Welcome Home Coalition recognizes the power of a party, and is bringing out the confetti in hopes that you will bring everyone you know to it in support of keeping rents affordable in Portland.

Join the coalition for another dazzling night of building and celebrating its movement for housing. Come get inspired by the brilliant voices of champions for housing including Gresham City Councilor Lori Stegmann, Housing Trust Fund Project Director Michael Anderson, Black Parent Initiative Director Charles McGee and more. Come out and be a part of the foundation, tell your story about why housing matters, and learn what solutions await the Portland Metro Region. Together we can make this a truly great place, where home is a place everyone can afford. The event takes place Thursday, June 4, from 6pm-7:30pm, at the Rosewood Initiative (16126 SE Stark St., Portland, OR 97233).

Please RSVP if you plan to attend.

211info is proud to be a part of the Welcome Home Coalition and the work it is doing. We hope you can join us.
