The alarm clock sounds and you gather up the courage to throw off the warm covers while the sleep is still in your eyes… and yikes it’s cold! Summer’s warmth is a ways away yet, no matter how these blue skies and sunshine may fool! There’s not much better than a hardy, piping-hot bowl of soup to fight the last of winter’s chill, but soup done by Portland’s culinary elite may just about put that homemade stuff in second place. At a Transition Projects fundraiser on March 12, let someone else make your soup, and drink up to help end the homelessness of families and individuals throughout Portland.
Transition Project’s “Soup for the Soul” event brings you Portland's hottest chefs, emerging stars, and delicious soups and treats to warm the heart. Now in its fifth year, it is the signature event for Transition Projects.
Come to the Urban Studio (935 NW Davis St., Portland, OR 97209) from 6-8:30pm on Thursday, March 12 to enjoy the delicious offerings. The fundraiser is a business attire event, and wine and beer will be hosted.
