silhouettes on a run

Of the ways you could fight the weight loss battle, Choose the better and healthier strategy of support, fun, active movement, and nutrition education as a SNACK participant. The Student Nutrition and Activity Clinic for Kids (SNACK) program was developed for youth between 6-18 years old, so if you or a friend or child currently struggles with their weight, consider this great program.

SNACK is a free 16-week program through Physician’s Medical Center in McMinnville designed to help kids and teens eat healthier and get active, especially those who are struggling with health problems like overweight or obesity, asthma or diabetes.

This is accomplished by the following:

  • Pairing with a trained college intern as a coach and mentor
  • Nutrition and health education
  • Free ways to get active like personal training, yoga dance and more
  • Individualized attention and support to meet your health goals

Services are offered in both English and Spanish. Sign up by calling PMC Call Center at (503) 472-6161.

Contact Ayana Robinson, SNACK Coordinator with questions: coordinator@snackprogram.org or (503) 434-8278.
