Parents, what does the relationship with your children look like? Answers aside, each parent-child relationship is unique, and deserves to be treated as such. With this uniqueness, follow unique challenges - challenges specific in circumstance, but not necessarily in cause. A weekly parenting class in Goldendale beginning March 3 will cover vital parenting topics that will make the bond you share with your son or daughter better.
Whether you are feeling frustrated, crazed by your children’s sibling rivalry, or concerned about alcohol or drug risk to your children, this free class made possible by Comprehensive Mental Health Foundation equips you with tools to smoothen out problems. The following topics will be covered:
• positive parenting & problem solving
• anger management
• parent/child communication tools
• consequences & household rules
• parenting & recovery
Take the general insights gained through these discussions home to apply to the specifics of raising your child.
Classes meet on a weekly basis on Tuesdays from 5:30pm - 8:30pm starting March 3 - May 26. They take place at Father’s House Fellowship (207 S Klickitat Ave, Goldendale, WA). Classes are free including materials and are taught in English. Free child care is available.
