Register for Youth Mental Health First Aid workshops in Yamhill and Klickitat County

Though it isn’t often on people’s minds, mental health is a serious issue. Take a moment to consider the negative effects that mental crisis or addictions have on the sufferer and those around them. Yet, unlike a heart attack, these crisis types aren't outwardly visible. Similar though, is the need to prepare to handle crisis when it strikes. Here is where Youth Mental Health First Aid can help.

Coming up are workshops in Yamhill and Klickitat Counties to provide you with the ins and outs of mental crisis and addiction. Equip yourself to be a first and effective responder in a mental health related crisis by recognizing the signs and having a plan. Workshops are:

The Youth Mental Health First Aid training helps prepare all who work with youth in a full-day workshop format. Learn not only risk factors and warning signs of youth mental crisis but also addiction concerns. You will also find out about strategies to help youth in both crisis and non-crisis situations and learn about helpful resources to further your knowledge or answer your questions. 

With mental crisis, BandAids and CPR do not make the situation better: you will.
