Help spread the word - a free urgent-needs dental clinic will pull up to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tillamook on January 28. Volunteering dental professionals will pile into the Medical Teams International mobile dental van headed out to the Coast to serve dental patients experiencing homelessness.
Those who have low incomes, no funds, dental insurance or access to dental care are encouraged to come for a first come, first served screening and appointment. Dentists will treat urgent needs like tooth pain, decay, and gum swelling.
Dental screenings begin at 11:30 am performed by dental assistants, and dental care starts at noon until 5 pm.
All dental staff volunteer their time. CARE Homeless Connect run through Sacred Heart Catholic Church will host the event. On Wednesday, the 28th, come to the church’s gymnasium located at 2411 5th St. Tillamook, OR.
