Communities are healthier when people can quickly and easily access public, nonprofit and faith-based structures. The nonprofit 211info is like an air traffic controller directing families and individuals to services that can help with personal or community struggles.

Mission
211info connects the people of Oregon and Southwest Washington with the community resources they need.
History
In 2004, national momentum behind a single, easy-to-remember phone number that would connect people to health and community services brought 211info to the Portland metro area. 211info provides information about community services for eleven counties in Oregon covering more than 75% of the state’s population.
211info also works with the Washington Information Network 211 to serve two counties in Southwest Washington.
211info, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been in operation since 1980. With decades of crisis and call center experience, 211info leverages its technical and program expertise to provide core infrastructure for the Oregon 211 Network.
Our goal is to bring 211 service to every Oregonian by 2013.
